On 4 September 2010, 99 Squadron, Royal Air Force, with the Airport Police Unit from Birmingham Airport, will be hosting a plane pulling competition at RAF Brize Norton. Teams from the RAF, Army, Police and other services will be pulling a C-130 Hercules against the clock to raise money for The Royal Air Force Association (RAFA) and The British Limbless Ex-Service Man’s Association (BLESMA). The teams consist of 20 members and the aim is to raise as much money as possible for charity.
